Having just terminated with the 13:10 service from London Waterloo, 'Warship' Class diesel hydraulic No. 813 'Diadem' stands at Exeter St Davids on 23rd August 1970. It was new from Swindon Works in December 1959 and survived in service until January 1972, being cut up at Swindon during September of that year.
