Both Landore allocated at the time and photographed at their home MPD on 11th July 1970 are Brush Type 4 diesel electric No. D1600 and 'Western' Class diesel hydraulic No. D1026 'Western Centurion'. D1600 later carried the numbers 47472 and 97472. It was involved in a collision with fellow Class 47 No. 47533 at Reading Station in February 1991, following which both locos were withdrawn. It was cut up by MRJ Phillips at Old Oak Common during May 1997. D1026 had a much shorter working life, being cut up at Swindon Works during August 1976.
