Oil tank trains between Milford Haven refinery and Theale oil Depot are normally the preserve of DBC's fleet of refurbished Class 60s. Occasionally however a Class 66 is required to stand in to cover for the lower availability of the older locos, as is the case on 14th July 2022, when No. 66105 hurries 22 empty barrels through Hungerford, returning to Robeston Sidings in the gathering heatwave.
