The original shed at this location was 'compact and bijou' in estate agency parlance, especially when compared to this building. In the early evening of 14th July 2012, two of the Bodmin & Wenford Railway's fleet of steam engines are to be seen simmering on shed at the end of the first day of the China Clay weekend. GWR 4575 Class Prairie numbered 5552 and GWR 4200 Class 2-8-0 numbered 4247 await their next duties at Bodmin.
