BR 'Deltic' Class diesel electric No. 9015 'Tulyar' stands outside Finsbury Park MPD on 13th August 1969, the Depot where the loco spent its whole service life. New from English Electric at Vulcan Foundry in October 1961, it became Class 55 No. 55015 under TOPS in 1974. It was withdrawn during January 1982 and is now preserved and owned by the Deltic Preservation Society. Finsbury Park was the first purpose built mainline diesel Depot in the country and was fully commissioned during April 1960. It was closed in October 1983.
