This 2 foot gauge 0-4-0 diesel was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia in 1918 for use by the French Army in World War 1. Purchased by the Ffestiniog Railway in 1925 she became their No. 11 Moelwyn and has remained on the railway ever since, being converted to a 2-4-0 configuration in 1957. In early 2016, as part of the heritage fleet, she was repainted into the World War 1 grey livery seen in this image and numbered 7011. In mid May she paid a visit to the Apedale Valley Light Railway near Stoke-on-Trent, and is pictured in the woods outside their loco shed on 22nd May 2016.
