Little Kimble is a small village nearby the Buckinghamshire route of HS2, providing another railhead for ballast deliveries from Tytherington Quarry by virtue of its location on the single-track Princes Risborough to Aylesbury branch line. The circuitous route involved has staging posts at Acton and Westbury TCs, and today's 36-strong empties are running through Hungerford making for the latter in the charge of DBC Class 66/0 No. 66075 and 66207 on 13th May 2022. Ironically DBC disposed of their Class 59/2s which probably could have managed this duty single-handed.
