The yard is well-stocked with carriages as Class 47/0 No. 47162 sets off from Ipswich with a London express on 5th July 1975. Over the road the TOLLY COBBOLD sign on the station Hotel can be made out, as well as the modest stands and floodlights at the Portman Rd ground where Sir Alf Ramsey took the town team to champions of the First Division, backed by the Cobbold family, before going on to win the World Cup for England.
