Swindon Works on 2nd December 1977 has a selection of diesel hydraulic locos arranged around the turntable basking in the sunshine. Hymek Class 35 No. D7029 looks the part, with Class 42 Warship No. D818 'Glory' displaying the famous up Cornish Riviera headcode. The latter loco did not survive but parts were reportedly incorporated in the refurbishment of classmate No. D832 'Onslaught', which loco is known to carry the identity of the donor on occasions in preservation.
