Class 08 No. 08091 has just come off the Bodmin branch, by way of the bridge over the River Fowey seen to the right of the cab, and is busy shunting its load of vans in the sidings at Bodmin Road on 4th April 1978. The clear view of the main line to Penzance shows the sharp contrast between its 1 in 65 gradient and the level layout at the station. A chance sighting while waiting to catch a westbound service.
