The unique BR Standard Class 8 Pacific No. 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' is running at speed with the 13-coach South Yorkshireman excursion on the Chiltern line near Seer Green on its way to the capital on 12th April 1992 in a re-creation of the post-WW2 service of the same name which worked between Bradford and London Marylebone over the by-then defunct Great Central main line.
