BR Open Day at Aylesbury on 14th June 1986. A general view as the crowds and confined space precluded taking stock photos, but providing an unusual view of the corridor tender arrangements for A4 Pacific No. 4998 'Sir Nigel Gresley', including access from the cab to enable the fireman to trim the coal heap on the fly. The Class 08 No. 08011 'Haversham' is also prominent in the view. On the day BR also provided a DMU service from Princes Risborough and onwards to the Buckinghamshire Steam Centre at Quainton Road.
