Nearly a month after its previous sighting from the west country is still enjoying Western haulage but it has been demoted to the up relief line seen here near White Waltham on 11th May 1975 in the charge of Class 52 No. D1037 'Western Empress'. In the interim, the prototype HST has come in to service and has priority use of the up main if there is a conflict due to its faster schedules.
