On a rural retreat - Network Rail Inspection unit Class 153 No. 153385 is drawing to a halt at the end of the turnback siding by the cattle field at Bedwyn on 24th August 2025. This unusual visitor to the facility is en route from Derby RTC to Bristol, taking in both up and down tracks between Newbury and Bedwyn and requiring reversal back to Newbury before continuing on its journey again.
