Class 47/4 No. 47466 stabled on Ayr MPD during April 1976. Delivered as a steam heat boiler fitted D1590, conversion to electric train heating and renumbering as 47466 occurred at the same time during the early 70s. A Haymarket loco at this time, withdrawal was made from Crewe MPD in August 1991, scrapping being completed by MRJ Phillips at Crewe Works during March 1997.
