Class 156 No. 156481 is seen descending Miles Platting bank and approaches Manchester Victoria Station on Wednesday 29th March 1989 with what appears to be a terminating service as it's already displaying York as the destination. No. 156481 is in the original Regional Railways Super Sprinter livery complete with an image of a sprinting man. Delivered new to Neville Hill TMD Leeds during 1988 the same unit can nowadays be seen operating with Northern Rail from it's Allerton Depot in Liverpool.
