A refurbished white and blue-liveried Class 101 DMU formed of DMCL No. 51524, TCL No. 59562 and DMBS No. 51467 calls at Leuchars Station, Fife on the early afternoon of 15th May 1978 while working a Dundee to Edinburgh Waverley service. The centre bay platform is still visible 9 years after the closure of the connecting branch line to St Andrews and what looks like the base of the old water tower stands next to the station canopy.
