Immingham DMD allocated, although still carrying her previous Gateshead Depot emblem behind the drivers door, Class 47/4 No. 47418 is stabled on Tinsley MPD on 5th June 1988. One of the first batch of 20 Class 47's delivered to BR as No. D1517 in April 1963 she had been renumbered under TOPS in January 1974. Being non standard these 20 locomotives were destined for an early demise with No. 47418 being withdrawn from Immingham in August 1992 and scrapped at nearby Frodingham MPD during December 1995 by MRJ Phillips.
