Class 45/1 No. 45123 'The Lancashire Fusilier' makes a lively getaway from Wellingborough with the service to London, St Pancras on 10th May 1975. There appears No. longer to be a need for a junction signal for the cross-country route to Northampton, although the trackwork was still in situ for goods use.
