Double-heading of Mendip Rail stone trains is usually only used to relocate locos back to base in Somerset, but today's delivery from Merehead Quarry to Colnbrook has the benefit of double adhesion weight with Class 59/2 No. 59203 and Class 66/5 No. 66538, the latter also under power judged by the heat haze over its muffler. The train is slowing ready to enter the loop line on Hungerford Common shortly ahead on 3rd October 2022.
