A few weeks before the Deltics were withdrawn from BR service at the start of 1982, a 'last chance' visit to the ECML sees No. 55010 'The Kings Own Scottish Boarderer' pull into Huntingdon with a northbound service on 28th October 1981. The domestic coal yard with sacking apparatus and delivery lorry in the goods yard speaks of different times when global warming and net zero were barely on the radar, and coal-burning BR locomotives were still a recent memory.
