HST No. 253040 speeds through Creech St. Michael on the 4-track section south of Cogload Junction on 7th April 1982. Traveling on the up relief (the 'midland' line) the service would have continued north to Bristol at the junction. The late-Victorian paper mill is prominent at the trackside.
