Built in 1891 by SACM (Grattenstaden) ALSACE-LORRAINE 0-6-0T Tank No. 6114 completes it's penultimate passenger duty for the day with a late afternoon working, Train service No. 106 (16:15) departure from Petange. This locomotive was acquired in 1996 and in 2019 was fitted with a new boiler. The line first emerged as a future heritage attraction in 1973, ten years after it was closed to mining traffic following abandonment of mining and a major landslide rendering the line inoperable. Passengers disembark at Fond-de-Gras on 26th June 2022, looking somewhat pleased with the overall experience!.
