Imported from the UK, 85-006 (Previously 86234 ) looks the business at Iliyantsi freight yard on 11th March 2025. Bulmarket and BZK (Bulgarian Freight Company) continue to use the imported Class 86 electric locomotives over a decade since they first arrived on Bulgarian soil. Most examples are still operational apart from a small number that were acquired as spares doners, the BULMARKET locos especially. And now a third company, EXPRESS SERVICES, has entered the Class 86 Club with the most recently acquired batch of surplus to requirements UK 86's. These venerable locomotives live on!.
