Roof detail on these classic RVR Class 32 EMU sets is often over-looked and to the layman looks a tad hazardous! Having left the straight track from Sofia behind, 32-127/32-128 begins it's journey through the torturous curves of the Iskar Gorge route with the evening SUB20205 (17:35) service from Sofia Central to Mezdra. These classic Soviet era Electric Multiple Units continue to work into Sofia having previously been banished from the capital many years ago. Image recorded at Novi Iskar on 18th March 2025 but 'The Mohicans' (train-spotters nickname for the class) continue to ply the route in July 2025, soon to celebrate 1 year of daily service since their unexpected return into the area.
