BDZ-PP Class 32 EMU Set No. 32-069/32-070 arrives at Iliyantsi during the late afternoon of 11th March 2025. The northern perimeter of the yard and station is marked by the new east/west ring road which has made travelling across the city of Sofia so much easier, crossing the rail line on a six lane over-bridge. Visible looking beneath the bridge we see the dead straight stretch of line from Kumaritsa before the line begins to twist and turn through the mighty Iskar Gorge. The Soviet-era unit has just two more stops to make before journey's end at Sofia Central with the ORD 20104 service from Vraca via Mezdra.
