Swiss built Winterthur 3593/1935 Class 2-8-2 No. 01.23 makes a spirited departure from the South Western Bulgarian town of Radomir on 12th October 2019. Following an 08:30 departure from the capital Sofia the four hour run would eventually take this fine looking train to destination Kyustendil, the line from Radomir via Zemen that this year is celebrating 110 years of operation since it was constructed in 1909. In the consist coupled behind the customary water tanker is luxury coach 51-52 9810 050-1 from the Bulgarian Royal Train. The train returned to Sofia late afternoon where the locomotive is based.
