A decidedly wintry scene at Bertrange/Strassen station on 2nd January 2017, the penultimate stop on the route from Arlon to Luxembourg City. SNCB (Belgian National Railways) Class AM96 3-Car EMUs pass working opposite direction west/eastbound services between Arlon and Luxembourg. The front end design of these units is based on the successful rubber nose of the Danish 1C3 DMUs, sets 507 and 512 being of the 3000V DC variant.
