South West Trains Class 159/0 DMU No. 159022 leads a six-car service from London Waterloo to Plymouth through Teignmouth on 20th July 2008. This service reversed direction at Exeter St.Davids having followed the West of England main line route from the capital via Salisbury, Yeovil Junction and Honiton. South West Trains eventually lost the franchise to South Western Railway and today there are no through trains beyond Exeter St.Davids, sea wall sightings such as this resigned to the history books.
