Construction of Electric Multiple Units for most communist countries was assigned to the Riga Wagon Works (RVR) in Latvia for many years, Bulgaria being no exception. Amid the Autumn colour at Gabrovo in Central Bulgaria BDZ PP Class 32 EMU set No. 32 119 /32 120 is a classic example of such from the RVR factory, built for the Bulgarian railway network between 1970 and 1979. These classic units have covered millions of miles throughout Bulgaria with a small number still in use as confirmed here on 13th October 2023. Passengers disembark from the SUB (15:40) service from Tsareva-Livada, a journey time of just 32 minutes. The lay-over at this branch line terminus will allow ample time for the crew to take both a coffee and comfort break before working the return service back to Tsareva-Livada.
