Currently a regular performer on the Mezdra to Sofia route is RVR EMU Set No. 32-037/32-038, recorded here on 19th March 2025 approaching Kumaritsa. Working the afternoon ORD20104 service from Vraca via Mezdra the unit has just three more stops to make before entering the final destination of Sofia Central. The security fencing recently erected on the eastern side of the tracks is to prevent locals taking a short cut across the lines to visit the shops which in turn has impeded early morning railway photography to a degree. But as one can clearly see the adjacent main road remains completely open with easy access for afternoon down shots.
