Ten units from the first batch of CFL Class 2200 EMU sets, built between 2005-2007 are under-going a mid-life refurbishment program. The work is being carried out at the SNCF Technicentre at Saint-Pierre-des-Corps in France with the first batch expected to be completed by 2025. Unit No. 2206 is captured at Luxembourg Central station on 8th August 2025 after arrival with a passenger service from Longwy. The revised livery is similar to that now being applied to the new Class 2400/2450 semi-double deck stock now entering service.
