The scene at Wasserbillig on 6th August 2025 showing ten stored CFL Class 3000 electric locos now surplus to requirements. Following the introduction of the new Class 2400 EMUs on the Luxembourg to Arlon route the Class 3000s have lost their last remaining passenger duties. Due to a lack of siding space at Luxembourg Depot these ten locos were moved to Wasserbillig for storage during April of this year. The line-up comprises 3009, 3010, 3011, 3013, 3007, 3008, 3015, 3005, 3014 and 3016. In the foreground CFL Vossloh DE18 No. 305 waits for the road with empty CFL Cargo stock.
