Still hard at work in Bulgaria are six Class 86 electric locos operational with Ruse-based BULMARKET. Following export from the UK the class were re-classified as Class 85 to avoid confusion with the former Danish Class 86 electrics that were already established in Bulgaria. Captured at Iliyantsi on 11th March 2025 85-006, the only one of the six not to still be carrying an English nameplate shunts a rake of LPG bogie tanks on arrival from the north of the country.
