PIMK Rail SIEMENS Smartron No. 80-006 'Roxana' is a regular visitor to the Sofia area and in this image is captured arriving L/E at Kurilo to pick up a rake of empty fuel bogie tanks for onward transit to Varna. Following a crew change and a gap of some three and a half hours 80-006 will depart to the north taking the route through the Iskar Gorge for Mezdra and ultimately to Varna on the Black Sea coast. Image recorded on 22nd March 2025.
