The station of Mamer situated on the Arlon to Luxembourg line serves a sizable community that sits just west of Luxembourg City. The route is operated jointly between Belgium Railways and CFL (Luxembourg). Daytime stopping workings running at roughly thirty minute intervals require three train sets to cover the Luxembourg-Arlon section. Belgium Railways DESIRO ML Type AM08 dual voltage EMU Set No. 08555 slows for the stop with train service RB5816 (16:05) Arlon to Luxembourg City on 5th August 2025. An Intercity service between Brussels-Midi, Arlon and Luxembourg provides an alternative non-stop connection between the same points.
