At Brusartzi in northwest Bulgaria an interested bystander looks on as indeed does the driver of Skoda Class 44 No. 44 155 which waits to depart with a Sofia to Vidin fast service. In Bulgaria, in general, drivers are happy to be photographed more often then not giving a wave, a big smile and a toot of the horns. But sometimes the expression on their faces is somewhat harder to read. I wonder what the ever so slightly more serious looking driver seen here is thinking? Mezdra-based Skoda No. 45 175 will also soon depart and take the branch to the Danube River town of Lom.
