No, this image is not reproduced in sepia colour, this is what well weathered BDZ (Bulgarian State run Railway) red looks like when it is well passed it's prime. At Voluyak on the outskirts of Sofia on 20th June 2016 a rake of loaded coal hoppers has been triple-headed from the western Bulgarian colliery close to the Serbian border. Departing to go on shed at Sofia the two leading Skoda electrics Nos. 43-552 and 43-547 pull forward having been detached from the train leaving 43-544 in possession of the hoppers and the coal.
