In Luxembourg the most distinctive railway architecture is that of Belval-Universite. This once major steel plant has been transformed into something quite unique. An extensive modern complex including a university, shopping centre and offices with several remnants of the old steel works beautifully restored and integrated amongst the new. A most interesting place to visit with many eating places throughout should you fancy a burger for lunch but don't expect to see much change out of a 20 Euro note! CFL Cargo Vossloh DE18301 passes the station complex on 24th June 2022, with a well loaded steel train bound for Bettembourg Yard destined for later onward transit.
