A new structure has replaced the original bridge and narrow stone arch at Dupene where the Rhodope Valley Railway crosses Route 84 near Varvara, the Zanichevo to Velingrad main road. German built Henschel diesel No. 75 005 crosses both the road and the Chepinska River working the late morning/early afternoon service from Dobrinishte to Septemvri on 16th June 2017.
