Henschel B-B narrow gauge diesel 75006 is pictured at Velingrad on 18th June 2016 working northbound on service Ord 16102 (05:20) Dobrinishte to Septemvri. Considered to be the better of the three classes of locomotives that work the Rhodope Valley Railway Line the Class 75 are fitted with a powerful Maybach-Mercedes Benz engine with a hydraulic transmission driving all four axles. They were specifically designed to cope with the massive range of temperatures experienced in the Rhodope Mountains each year, first introduced as long ago as 1965!.
