Looking north, a wider view taken at Velingrad on 17th June 2016. BDZ Rhodope Valley Railway 75005 waits time for a southbound departure working service Ord 16103 (08:25) Septemvri to Dobrinishte. In the distance a rake of goods wagons and vans that once provided substantial revenue when industry was introduced here at Velingrad, Razlog and Bansko. Today, weeds bushes and even small trees are growing in-between the stock but considering that they haven't turned a wheel since all freight workings ceased in 2000/2001 following the collapse of Communism they are still in remarkably good condition. A railway preservationist's dream! If only!.
