Despite some reports stating that the RVR EMU Class 32 fleet had finally been withdrawn from service I am pleased to confirm that several of these classic units are still operational in 2022. This is probably due to the fact that many of the 18 year old SIEMENS EMUs are out of action due to vandalism and unreliability as a direct result of poor maintenance, many of the class now in need of complete refurbishment.
