At Klisura on Bulgarias Sub-Balkan Line a somewhat smokey Track machine No. 1365 sets back into a stabling siding on 5th September 2022. Opposite a recently out-shopped No. 5252 stands alongside a purpose built structure to support the maintenance department at this important location on what can only be described as a challenging route of tunnels, cuttings and viaducts, much of it running through isolated and inaccessible parts of the terrain. This main line runs eastbound from the capital Sofia towards Karlovo and is predominantly single track skirting along the southern slopes of the Stara Planina mountain range.
