Another rake of empty coal hoppers heads westbound through Slivnitsa in western Bulgaria on 21st March 2023. TBD TP Skoda No. 44-143 is heading for Aldomirovtsi where the empties will be replaced with full hoppers that will have already been tripped in from the Beli-breg open cast mine. Bulgarias coal fired power stations have an insatiable appetite for fossil fuel and thus provide the railway photographer with a regular number of daily workings in this region of Bulgaria; Bio-mass not an option here as yet.
