CFL Cargo Vossloh DE 18 302 has arrived from Luxembourg Yard with a loaded rake of fuel tanks for the Shell and Q8 fuel storage facilities at Bertrange/Strassen on 11th April 2023. First task is for the empty tanks to be removed from the Shell compound which requires the road to be closed as is clearly evident here. Delays and disruption to road traffic can be measured in many minutes at a time as the loco enters the two-road compound twice before the barriers are raised. A few minutes later the saga is repeated when the inbound full tanks are deposited for unloading.
