Autumn time in Northern Bulgaria on what had been a glorious 11th October 2017, sees the early evening BDZ PP service from Levski to Svishtov on approach to Oresh. This image captures Romanian-built Class 55 No. 55-144 in a typical Bulgarian branch line scene. Two coaches on this occasion but a one coach consist would often be noted especially during the quieter hours of the day. Looking south the line swings away to the right threading a route across countless acres of fertile farmland towards the next station at Dragomirovo.
