Waiting for the road at Sofia Central station BDZ Class 55 No. 55-058 is captured on shunting duty on 23rd October 2024. Much of the station remains a building site but the southern-most lines and concourse area are all but completed. Through lines remain heavily restricted as indeed is access from the eastern and northern directions, LINES 1 and 2, Many loco-hauled services are being terminated at nearby Sofia-Sever (Sofia-North) during daylight hours, this disruption expected to continue well into 2025.
