Sofia's Tatra T6B5B standard gauge trams are usually observed coupled together in pairs. Only one pantograph needs to raised when driven in sets of two but a three-car set-up would require two pantographs to be making contact with the juice. Interesting to know that the second car can be controlled from the first should the traction equipment of the leading car fail. Cars 4111 and 4116 run westbound at 28-ti poshtenski klon on 22nd October 2024 on Route 20 from Depo Iskar to Opalchenska Metro Station.
